ASUS RT-AC66U router: review and testing

Router ASUS RT-AC87U, described in previous material of course is quite a productive solution. However its price is not moderate. Especially for such users ASUS has prepared a few cheaper models. They also have the support of the new wireless standard IEEE 802.11ac, but have a more humane price tag. As you may guess the main difference between them lies in the theoretical bandwidth through Wi-Fi-network segment. Moreover, the lower it is, the less the cost of the device. For example, the flagship model ASUS RT-AC87U with a maximum transfer speed of up to 2400 Mb/s (class AC2400) will cost you about $ 310, while the hero of this review, the router ASUS RT-AC66U (class AC1750) is just $ 180.
